Meet Your Board
The board of directors is responsible for the property, business and affairs of the association. Along with being the source of information about EDA projects and activities, the directors are the point of contact for issues or problems that need to be brought to the attention of the national organization.
Ivan Dorhout is the owner of Town & Country Implement, which carries Case IH, New Holland, and Kubota. Ivan has over 36 years of industry experience. In addition to service on the executive committee and audit committee, he has served as president of the Iowa-Nebraska Equipment Dealers Association. Along with his leadership role at the regional level, Ivan has participated in EDA’s legislative fly-in and Legislative Committee.
Brad Hershey is one of four on Hoober, Inc.’s “Third Generation Ownership & Leadership Team,” founded in 1941 by his grandfather. Hoober is a nine store retail dealership representing Case IH/JCB/KUHN/Great Plains/Kubota, along with specialty lines, located in PA, DE, MD and VA. Brad started with Hoober in 1985 as a salesman in Delaware and was assigned Store Manager of Hoober’s third acquired location in Mifflintown, PA in 1996. Brad graduated from Delaware University in 1985 with a degree in Business Administration and was on the school’s wrestling team. Brad and his wife Sandra (m 1990), along with their four children are very active in their community. Brad is Deacon for his Church, 4-H leader, and a member of Juniata Business and Industry; FFA Advisory Board; Rotary Club and is active on various booster clubs at Juniata High School.
Daniel Jones is a partner in Frontline Ag Solutions, a John Deere Dealership with 10 locations throughout Montana. Prior to joining Frontline in 2012, Daniel was a practicing attorney. He completed his undergraduate education at Harvard followed by a J.D. and MBA from University of Montana. Daniel is currently the president of the Montana Equipment Dealers Association Board of Directors and serves as Alderman for the City of Conrad, MT
FAR WEST REGION
Eric is the Vice President of Mason Machinery, a two store Massey Ferguson and New Holland operation in Utah that Eric’s grandfather started in 1948. Before becoming general manager 2012, Eric spent seven years as a technician and six years in sales and sales management. In his role as general manger Eric spends most of his time traveling between the two stores to oversee processes and company culture. Eric has served on the Far West Equipment Dealers Association (FWEDA) board of directors since 2011and is currently serving as Past-President. Eric is married and has four daughters.
Ross Morgan works in Operations Management for H&R Agri Power, an 18 location Case IH, New Holland and Kubota dealership operating in Alabama, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. H&R Agri Power has been in business 60 years and has been a member of the Equipment Dealers Association for over 35 years. Ross is a past president of the Kentucky and Kentucky/Indiana Equipment Dealer Associations.
DEEP SOUTHERN REGION
Josh Vines is the Vice President of Goldman Equipment LLC, a 13 store John Deere dealership group in Louisiana. Josh currently serves as a Director on Deep Southern’s Equipment Dealers Assn’s board and graduated from Louisiana Tech University.
Scheuers is the dealer principal and service manager for Waupun Equipment, a two-store dealership in Wisconsin. With 35 years at Waupun, including 16 as an owner, Scheuers thoroughly understands the role of dealers and will work to improve industry relationships.
Snih has been the owner and president of full-service equipment dealer Huber Farm Equipment in Prince George, B.C., since 2009. Snih’s Canadian government experience and military and university background help him bring a unique regional perspective to EDA.
SOUTH CENTRAL REGION
Jim Meinhardt is owner of KanEquip, Inc., a Kansas-based dealership with nine locations. KanEquip focuses on the agriculture and light industrial markets and offers an extensive line of equipment, including AGCO, Bobcat, Case IH, Great Plains, Kinze, Kubota, Kuhn, Landpride, New Holland and more. Jim currently serves on the board of the Equipment Dealers Foundation. In addition, he previously served on the board of the national association when it was known as the North American Equipment Dealers Association (NAEDA). His service included a term as NAEDA board chair in 2005.
