EDA Announces Summer Webinar Series: HR Workshop Wednesdays

ST. LOUIS, MO (May 23, 2019) – The Equipment Dealers Association announced today it will provide equipment dealers throughout North America with a summer webinar mini-series aimed at addressing common workplace issues.

Created for dealership human resources professionals, this series of three, thirty-minute workshops will cover employer obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, employee discipline best practices and sexual harassment prevention.

The webinars, held one Wednesday a month in June, July and August will be led by EDA’s general counsel, Natalie Higgins.  Higgins is a labor and employment attorney practicing in Missouri and Illinois.  She has worked for EDA for the last four years as general counsel and will share her insight on these common workplace challenges.

HR Workshop Wednesday Schedule:

  1. June 19, 2019 – Understanding Employer Obligations under the ADA: Breaking down the interactive process and ensuring your dealership mitigates avoidable risks.
  2. July 10, 2019 – Adopting and Implementing Best Practices in Employee Reviews and Discipline
  3. August 14, 2019 – Understanding Best Practices in Sexual Harassment Prevention: Avoid a #MeToo claim at your dealership.


All HR Workshop Wednesday webinars are FREE for dealer members and will start promptly at noon (CST).  Prior to each webinar, registrants are invited to submit questions to be answered during the presentation.  There will also be an opportunity for additional Q&A following each webinar.
