Joseph Dykes

Vice President of Industry Relations, Joe Dykes first joined the EDA staff in May 2008 as Director, Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) Programs in addition to being the Executive Vice President of the Mississippi Valley Equipment Association (MVEA), a position he held since 1990.

With the dissolutions of the MVEA in 2011, Joe was appointed Director, Member Services for NAEDA where he developed programs, products, and services that supported EDA’s purpose and provided equipment dealers with valuable business and professional development opportunities. He also serves as the staff contact to the OPE Council.

Joe oversees these functions while seeking additional opportunities to leverage existing programs such as the Compensation & Benefits Report and the Dealer-Manufacturer Relations Survey and develop new products.

In addition, Joe serves as liaison to EDA’s industry partners where he works to expand the services that are provided to OPE dealers. He monitors activities and coordinates meetings with OPE manufacturers to encourage productive and mutually beneficial relationships. Joe’s knowledge of the industry and his relationship with members and manufacturers are a tremendous asset in expanding EDA’s service to all dealers.
